The meme’s text reads: “The youngest parents in the world. Two students from the same school. The boy is 13 years old. The girl is 12 years old. THEIR BABY is now 6 months old.”
The girl, boy and baby are all wearing matching outfits. What is their relationship?
Children are siblings
Using a reverse image search, we found the photo on a fashion blog that describes itself as a “platform to share your best styles with the world”.
The image is watermarked with two Instagram handles: @jaiyalngram and @subwaytatted. The first is for Jaiya Ingram, a youngster who describes herself as a “miracle baby” and “liver transplant survivor”. The second is for Shameka Morris, a fashion designer from the US state of Florida.
Jaiya Ingram appears to be the young girl in the meme. The original photo was published on her account on 30 December 2018, and in a comment on the photo she says the boy and baby are her brothers.
Jaiya and the older boy appear in many of the photos on her account, often wearing matching outfits. Some commenters speculate the two are twins because they appear close in age.
On 18 July 2019 Jaiya published a photo of herself and a baby, with the caption: “Happy 9 Months To My Baby Brother Jayce.”
Shameka Morris also published the photo in the meme on Instagram on the same day as Jaiya. She describes the children as her cousins, and says the three are siblings.
