How many coronavirus deaths are there in each World Health Organization region?

The World Health Organization groups member states into six regions.

As of 30 May 2022, the Region of the Americas had recorded the largest number of deaths at 2,740,558. There were 2,010,805 deaths in the European Region, 788,493 deaths in the South East-Asia Region, 342,784 deaths in the Eastern Mediterranean Region, 230,025 deaths in the Western Pacific Region and 172,493 deaths in the African Region.
