How much farmland does Kenya have?

Kenya has 10 million hectares of agricultural land, according to the 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census. Of this, 8.4 million hectares are mainly used for subsistence farming while 961,501 hectares are mainly used for commercial agriculture. Kajiado county has the most agricultural land (824,874 hectares).
