The UNHCR, the UN’s refugee agency, releases the Global Trends in Forced Replacement report annually. It analyses changes in populations of concern and tracks data on numbers of refugees and asylum seekers.

In 2017 South Africa’s power utility Eskom commissioned consulting firm Deloitte to produce this report on electricity consumption and pricing in South Africa. It examines historical trends, policies, challenges and future energy outlook.

The Chamber of Mines, a mining industry organisation, publishes regular factsheets on a number of topics in the South African mining sector.

The International Atomic Energy Agency’s archive contains historical nuclear energy reports and publications dating back to 1965.

The Department of Water and Sanitation no longer produces its water services reports (providing blue, green and no-drop certification), which monitored water quality across South African municipalities. It plans to resume publication in 2019. Previous reports can be downloaded from the department’s website.

This Statistics South Africa report analyses data from the 2016 community survey and general household surveys from 2002 to 2015. It evaluates water and sanitation conditions in South Africa.

The South African Social Security Agency publishes monthly data on social grants in the country's nine provinces.
