Statistics South Africa's annual household surveys include information on access to piped water as well as people’s opinions on the quality of the water they receive.

The UN's 2017 Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking Water report is the formal global monitoring instrument used for the sustainable development goals. It provides aggregates at national level.

The National Universities Commission's (NUC) website lists federal, state and private universities as well as the year each institution was established. The NUC registers, accredits and regulates universities and the website provides general project updates on tertiary education in Nigeria.

A daily report on Nigeria's power sector, created by the advisory team of the vice-president of Nigeria. It includes average hourly power sent out daily, constraints and peak energy hours.

Power and electricity data from the Nigeria Data Portal. It includes indicators on peak generation and energy sent out. This National Bureau of Statistics initiative allows dissemination of statistical data with various functionalities.

Research on baseline power in Nigeria including data on daily gas production and gas supplied to power plants. It was developed by the advisory power team in the office of the vice-president in conjunction with Power Africa. The 36-page document can be downloaded in PDF.
