How many refugees and asylum seekers live in Kenya?

Kenya currently hosts over 500,000 refugees and asylum seekers in Dadaab and Kakuma refugee camps and the Kalobeyei settlement. In addition, 127,278 individuals in the Dadaab camp are profiled and awaiting registration. This brings the total number of registered and profiled refugees and asylum seekers to approximately 627,278.
