What is the rate of migration of foreigners to Nigeria?

Nigeria registered 1.3 million immigrants in 2020 representing 0.6% of its population. This proportion is less than the global average (3.6%) and the average for the West Africa region (1.9%). Migrants from Benin made up about 30% of all those counted, while others were mostly from ECOWAS countries (Ghana, Mali, Togo and Niger).
