Where does Nigeria rank globally based on perceived public-sector corruption?

Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index records perceived public-sector corruption in 180 countries and territories. It uses a scale of zero (highly corrupt) to 100 (very clean), based on feedback from experts and business people.

Nigeria improved its position in the global Corruption Perception Index for 2022, moving up four places from 2021 to rank 150th out of 180 countries. Despite this slight improvement in ranking, Nigeria's score remained unchanged from the previous year, with a score of 24 out of 100 points.
