Which countries in Africa have the most ethnic diversity?

There are several global indexes that measure some level of ethnic and cultural diversity. Stanford research from 2003 by James Fearon provides ethnic and cultural diversity data by country. Overall, Africa's diversity rankings are much higher than that of other continents. The top scorers in the Fearon index are Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Liberia and Cameroon.
