What was the result of Kenya’s 2017 election?

A multiparty election was held in August 2017 and Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the winner. However, the Supreme Court invalidated the win and ordered that a new election be held on 26 October 2017. Protests against the outcome led to injuries and loss of life. Kenyatta was declared the winner of the repeat election and was sworn in as president.
