Which African countries emit the most greenhouse gases?

As of 2018, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa and Nigeria are in the top bracket of African emitters of greenhouse gases. Africa as a continent is one of the lowest greenhouse gas polluters, but because of poverty and other risk factors, it remains vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
