Catherine Adeniyi became a junior researcher at Africa Check in June 2022. Previously, she was the editorial project coordinator at Africa Check from June 2020 to May 2022. Prior to joining Africa Check, Catherine was a content developer at CloudWare Technologies, where she built and managed websites with WordPress, organised and handled training, created and edited short videos, as well as managed social media platforms. Before that Catherine was a news reporter and producer at Diamond FM, University of Ibadan as well as at the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State. During her undergraduate days, Catherine was assistant editor for The Interpreter, a departmental magazine for the department of Mass Communication. She has a bachelors degree in mass communication from Adekunle Ajasin, University Akungba Akoko Ondo State.
