Hlalani Gumpo joined Africa Check in September 2020. She holds a PhD in programme evaluation from the University of Cape Town and has worked as a monitoring, evaluation and learning specialist for over 11 years across different development initiatives in early childhood development, substance abuse treatment and enterprise development. Hlalani started her career as an assistant lecturer, and before joining Africa Check, she was the monitoring and evaluation manager for TechnoServe South Africa. Her interests are reading and appreciating nature.
